Privacy Policy

Version 2026-08-1

This Privacy Policy explains what data CV Maker (built and operated by Flathire) collects and why.

Account data. Your account email and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text) are kept separately from any email address you choose to put on your CV itself, the two are never assumed to be the same.

CV content. Everything you type into a CV, including personal details, work history, education, and any uploaded photo, is stored so you can keep editing it, and is used only to render your previews and exports. We do not sell CV content or share it with third parties for advertising.

Photo uploads. Only the final, cropped photo you save is stored, the original unedited upload is discarded after cropping.

Billing data. Payments are processed by Stripe; we store a subscription status and Stripe's own customer/subscription identifiers, never your raw card details.

Your rights. You can export or delete your CVs at any time from your dashboard, and can request full account deletion by contacting us.

This is a working placeholder for the product build. Replace with reviewed legal copy (including an LGPD/GDPR-compliant basis for processing) before taking real user data to production.
